    Hi got a Bosch dishwasher SGV46M3GB/01 the problem is it is not heating and has 1 minute left on lcd. I have checked heater that is fine cleaned water chamber, replaced the pcb still the same could it be heater stat? I have never had to replace one befor. Any help on this one much appreciated. 😕 😕 😕

    Have you checked the PCB for burnt relay contacts?

    I have replaced the pcb board with brand new one.

    Have you checked the microswitch on the heater? I was caught out by this at christmas

    I’ve never had a problem like that with the micro switch though it is simple enough to check it. In fact that would be your best course of action if the heater is Ok. Provided there’s sufficient flow of water thru the heater to operate the switch (a simple bellows type diaphram) whilst it’s washing, you should get a full 240v circuit thru it and to the heater.

    9 times out of 10 the heater is duff. 1 out of 10 and it’s the module instead. Your case however may need a little more in depth testing such as I have suggested. 😉

    To make life even easier for you I would advise testing it on a ‘Quick Wash’ cycle. That way it fills, then within a couple of minutes, should start to heat at the same time. 😀
