First one of the Chinese heaps I have seen, PNC.914579820-00

Customer says it will not spin, even when empty, says it will tumble and count down to 6 or 7 minutes then stop tumbling and timer goes back a minute or two.

As usual when I tried it it went into spin abd counted right down perfectly.

I don’t know how to get into diagnostics on these ( if anyone who has access to Pro Corner could help me out I would be most grateful ).
I did try a few combinations of button presses and knob turning and at one stage got what looked like L5t in the display, no idea if this is an error message or not. 😕

    Any ideas welcome.

    TIA.

    Jim.

Thanks for that Don, not really sure I want to get my hands inside any more Chinese stuff, the Hotpoint/Indesit dishwashers are bad enough. 🙁

    Jim.

EDIT. Having had a quick look I’m not sure I really want the tech info. :eeek:

It is losing quite a lot in translation. 😥

Might pop into my local Chinese take away and see if they can make any sense of it. 😀

Like this gem for starters, ‘The drain hose is obdurate with the cloacae’ now what on earth does that mean?????

Hey Jim: Try a couple of pints & a Special Chow Mein, at least if you can’t translate the manual you can enjoy trying Lol.

I’ve had a couple doing that, Jim i’ve cleared the filter and removed the pressure hose from the linear pressure switch and refitted, not had a call back so far about 2 months now fingers and toes are still crossed.

It transpires that since I waved my hands over it there have been no further problems. 🙂
