    im repairing a whirlpool diswasher at the moment. F 4 keeps happening. Now f4 signifies a draining failure so i have replaced the owi at the sump, the flowmeter chip on the side and changed the pump and still the f4 error keeps happening during the cycle. Can anyone else shed some light on the matter or is a question of replacing the circuit board?

    F4 can be a faulty control board and assuming there is no blockage in the house plumbing or the waste pipe then that is all I can think of that you have left to try.
