    bosch shv55m03/gb lower level spinner not flowing with water. upper spinner appears normal. piping to both levels unobstructed. any clues, please?

    Oh yes, the ‘instantaneous heater unit’ will need replacing.

    thanks for quick reply – my mistake the heater appears ops norm – I’d been testing on a cycle that didn’t heat. I’m getting a good flow of water from the upper spinner, none in lower

    Nevertheless the fault is with the instantaneous water heater. The water diverter valve that’s causing you the problem is an integral part of that heater unit and thus requires replacing to cure.:(

    Sorry, your knowledge of Bosch is better than mine and that dishwasher uses a heat exchanger as well and I’m curious.

    Firstly, this model has two different heater units (488856 OR 498623) therefore before ordering it is necessary to establish the suffix of the Enr number.(i.e the last two numerals after the /)

    Secondly, no, this model range does not have a heater exchanger matrix.
