    I have a Hoover WMD120 and cant get the interlock to work it always seeing the door as open. I have replaced the interlock and still have the same problem.
    I then removed the switch part form the interlock and switch it manually by pushing the little black stick down and it worked
    I also cant see anything wrong with the door latch

    Probably is the actual door catch itself that’s worn, even if it doesn’t look like it is…

    Had a similar fault a few days ago..

    Could also be bunged up inside with soap residue, and not allowing the spring it’s full travel
