    Bosch SMS50E02GB/07 dishwasher. FD8902.

    No heat on any cycle. This is the ‘all-in-one’ motor and heater assembly they are now using. 654575 is the part number. Never had to strip one of these before.
    Question is – do these fail often? I have tried to test the heater by tracing the wiring because it is damn near impossible to get into the heater to test it from its own terminals. I am not that confident TBH with the results and it looks as if it is a complete machine strip down to get to, let alone see where the terminals are. Any information on this type of dishwasher and gaining access to the motor would be very welcome.

    Thanks,

    Steve.

    Give me your email address Steve and I will send you the service manual. They fail fairly frequently as do the module for the same fault….crap machines to be honest. :rolls:

    Re: Bosch SMS50E02GB/07 dishwasher no heat.

    Just been to similar machine SMS50E02 GB/02- first one of these I’ve come across ;
    Mines not taking water, “No water light on”, just pumps and wash motor working.
    No water in base, checked Aquastop , no power getting to it.
    Polystyrene on side a good idea,( not) had to cut a lump off to get to bleeding module.
    Bosch used to be such good machines, shame , Progress my Arse.
    Any ideas of fault , can only assume module but open to offers.
    Clive.
