I was at the above machine today, customer stated that the machine had run through a wash program then stopped full of water with the anticrease led and service led displayed.
I tried to the machine on a drain only program and all it did was lock the door, no buzzing from the pump, when I put my meter on the pump leads I was getting 240. So I fitted a new pump, but when I tested it on a spin although the pump was now running, there was no motor action and after a minute or two the anticrease led and service led came on again.
I had a quick look at the brushes which were like new, but sadly because I was running late for an other appointment I had to leave it there. I don’t really get many Whirlpool repairs, so I’m not really all that familiar with common faults on them, so any pointers or help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Martin, I am going back today, I’ll check the heater first.

Well I checked the heater and it was OK, so went through everything and eventually found a burnt component on the module.
I am not sure if these are repairable? But I think it will probably end up being replaced with a new washing machine.
