    I don’t normally look at LG but this one slipped through the net can anyone help please.
    Symptoms control panel/machine dead.
    Supply though to main module. Small fuse on module “blown”
    Any idea what this fuse is for (module/motor?)
    I replaced the fuse with a temporary link, which “blew” immediately switching power on. I suspect the motor has a fault and taken the module out, though cannot confirm as meter tests show it clear.

    Nightmare job. Isn’t that one of those where the fuse (8A?) is buried along with everything else in the silicone? Wasted time trying to repair one of those myself a couple of years ago. Was the big capacitor which blew fuse. Replaced it and fuse but there was still a problem and I never got to the bottom of it.

    Module £170ish, customers writen it off, 3yrs old!

    have replaced with fuse blown and had no probs again
