Back again with a problem. Ok, this dishwasher pumps out at the start of any prog you start on, then begins to fill up for about 10 secs then aborts the programme with pump out and sometimes with filling also then goes beep beep and the start light flashes for 6 times pause for a sec then 6 flashes. Looking this up on the w/pool fault code points to bad fill speed but I wouldn`t say that as it is filling it is slow. Only thing I can guess is that the reed valve/ stupid fill counter has jacked??? I did get , by a lucky chance, that the m/ch actually filled properly and the wash motor started up and the rinse only prog ran to finish, next time tested back to square one.So I know that the wash motor does work, the pump works and i tested that the heater part of the motor unit works via meter. Any ideas anyone and if it is the reed valve/side chamber unit any idea of the part number .Thanks.

looks like part no. 481241868368 and I have one sitting on the shelf if you would like to try it

thanks colin- customer away because of Queens diamond jubilee, will get back to you if she is interested in actually bothering to get m/ch repaired as she might buy new appliance instead-that`s the impression she has given me. Most kind suggestion and helpful.
