    hi guys i didnt think i would get caught out on this , i removed the hose from the tub to the drain pump . sock stuck in it !! , anywho it wont stay water tight now the big clip on the tub end always a little drip from it i must have put it on 20 times still a leak , do these have to be sealed with some silicone ??

    The trade sealant is called “Debor”, I believe that it is designed to withstand the detergents used in washing machines and dishwashers, it dries to a sort of rubbery consistency.

    These sump hoses do this, it’s a known issue. Best to replace the sump hose assembly (Part no: 1260591027) as it comes complete with new clamp band. Far better than resorting to glue and less chance of bu&&ering up the motor through water damage! 😉
