    Hi to every one.
    I have a problem with the main oven in my Zanussi zce 7700x hope some one can advise.
    Oven cuts out and fan goes off. After a short while the fan comes back on and oven works. This happens at random and not just because it has reached a set temperature. I don’t think it is the thermostat as when it is working ok and reaches the desired temperature the indicator light goes off but the fan remains on. I hope this all makes sense

    Two thoughts:

    1) oven timer switching fault?
    2) overheat cutout attached to oven cavity faulty?

    Dont think it’s the timer as rarely use it, but the faulty over heat cut out may be a winner!

    But you have to realise the fact that the oven is controlled/ switched directly via the oven timer. So at this stage you must consider it a possibility all the while lest you find otherwise. 😉

    I’ll replace the cheapest option first and take it from there.
