I am looking for a built-in single electric oven to fit under a built in gas hob. The gas feeder pipe for the hob come up the back of the oven cavity and then forward to the middle of the hob. This obvious restricts the space available. From the reseach I’ve managed todate it seems that most manufacturers have forgotten that consumers require under-counter ovens and only build oven for eye-level installation where there are no obstacles to installation. Is anyone aware of any oven that is likely to suitable.
Thanks
Re: Help Finding An Oven Suitable to fit beneath a gas hob
My memory was playing tricks with me – the gas pipe connection to the hob is at the rear. However, my statement was to highlight the need for the oven to have a stepped top, rather than be completely box shaped.
I have got my tape out to re-check all the critical dimensions.
The oven should have a depth of between 53 & 54 cm excluding the facia (54 at a push). The height of the main chassis can be 57cm at the front of the unit but reducing to 53 cm at the rear.
