Rangemaster 90 (6462) door pin rivnutt has pulled out oo the main oven. Means no threaded nut to screw the door latch pin into. Anyone know the repair for this? Unable to get inside to fit a nut.

    Hi Mark

I have a encapsulated nut tool if you want to borrow it to put a new one in,you could put a bigger one in and use a hellicoil if the holes bigger than original.

    Hi Mark,

the tool you require is called a clinch nut tool and thats maybe what Bryan has, just google it and have a look.

thanks, yes I think its the same as a rivnut tool, mine is air powered though so will need to wheel a compressor into her kitchen!.. I fear the hole left though is larger than the rivnut for the correct thread for the door pin.
