hi, Miele W522 also known as premier 520.
it wont fill, the valve is ok but there is some kind of diverter on the rear of the soap dispenser.
the diverter is obviously getting electricity as it is buzzing away
but there is no electricity coming out of it,
there are 4 wires going in and 2 coming out I looked on line and the part is over £100. is there any way to repair this diverter
or bypass it, or is it a case of getting a new diverter,

If you look down from above you should see a little window which shows the position. Its driving to reach a position selected for the type of wash. Motor will drive to that position & when it makes the switch for the required position it should send a signal to say its reached requested position & take in water. There may be a fault with the gear or motor driving mechanism if its not turning correctly.
