    Can anyone salvage a tacho generator coil from an old AEG, Zanussi or Hotpoint washing machine for me?

    It should have a coil resistance around 184 ohms.
    Mine has an intermittent open circuit that is upsetting my AEG Electrolux Lavamat L16830 washer/dryer.

    The UK Whitegood equivalent is apparently no longer available. It seems Electrolux has decided to discontinue it.
