My oven halogen ring has stopped working, all the other rings work but these are not halogen, is this fixable or is replacing the ring not worth it or could it be a fuse or something, just asking before i go out and buy a new cooker 😆

If there is no heat at all, its most likely the control switch as most halogen rings also have a conventional element in the ring as well…this is prolly the cheapest part too.
The halogen rings do have a temperature limiter which sometimes fail although these are often not supplied as a seperate spare but come with a complete ring….pricewise depends really on how many halogen bars in the ring…and of course the brand name on the product!
Either way, if the product is not very old and/or still looks good then it should be worth fixing.
