Baumatic Problems:- Part II…
The dishwasher has thrown up E3 as an error code, ie overheating, and when you open the door the steam rushes to meet you as it escapes. BUT, when I ran the quick rinse cycle (ie no heating element used so no overheating), I noticed that the spray arms have not moved at all. I assume that the reason it’s all getting too hot is because the element is only heating stationary water, not circulating water, and that the E3 code is the result of the symptom rather than the cause. Anyway, anyone got any suggestions?
I’m off to pray now that when they say these things come in threes they mean that Washing Machine, Dishwasher and English Summer are the Gang of Three that have broken down, and not another household item. Otherwise I fear I may need a lottery win…
