    Hi
I have to go and look at a WD12X washer dryer on Tuesday for a letting agent.
The problem is that it overheats (Boils) on every programe, even when they put the temperature dial on cold.
Is it likely to be a thermistor or potentiometer ?
I have a thermistor on the van, but not a potentiometer, would like to prepared as its a few miles away.

thinking out of the box. id establish that they’ve got the hoses on the right way round, assuming that its hot and cold fill.

The other thing that comes to mind for me is has the relay on the board for the element gone and welded its contacts in the on position? You would only be able to tell with a multimeter – if it has then try giving the relay a few sharp smacks on the top and it should/may release, if it does then you need to replace the relay or it will do it again.
