Hi i have been having loads of trouble with a Hotpoint BFV620X dishwasher which i would normally have written off by now but have persevered with because it is for a really nice customer that is desperate.
The machine is showing lights 1 and 3 which can mean the following faults filters blocked, primary starter wash motor, aux starter wash motor and pressure sensor contacts open during wash. It shows this fault after it has filled to a decent level but not full, it shows intermittently sometimes doing several washes in between. I have replaced PCB and motor, checked all the wiring. Has anyone had this fault before? any help would really be appreciated 🙂
    Thanks Peter

i cant remember which lights they were but on a similar dishy over a year ago i replaced the fill matrix/hamster wheel assembly for about £17. all i can remember is that it wasn’t filling to correct level.
hope this helps in some way.

The ring nut that the top spray arm pushes into if the seaL IS worn can cause this fault worth having a look at that.
