Smeg A2 wont spark?

    I’ve got a Smeg A2 6 burner dual oven. The 3 right hand side knobs do not create a spark when pushed in and hence wont light? They do get sparks when the 3 left hand knobs are pressed though and gas flows normally to all hobs. Does anyone have any ideas on a fix please? Regards Peter

    it’ll be the switch web that will most likely be faulty.

    Hi

    In that case you will need to get an engineer out as due to the liabilities we cannot explain fully but point you in the areas of what would normally be faulty.

    And yes it should be a easy fix.

    That’ll be health and safety then! Gets in the way doesnt it! If I say I’ll not be doing any of the work myself and assure you I’ll be getting an engineer at my earliest convenience can you advise me further so I can enlighten the engineer??!! Regards Peter
