First off big slice of humble pie, should have took the advice of this site and bought quality in the 1st place….. 😥
BUT I will appreciate any advice.
Had this Chinese machine from the Argos group about 15 months ago. No probs until last night. The start up draining was a metallic griding noise and then the pump failed. The machine continued to fill and start but will no longer drain at any point.
I cleaned the filters out just yesterday but maybe my fault as i put a bit of caustic soda in the filter to clean it out.
Would that have caused the problem????
When the machine is started now it just makes a clic sound as if trying to start the drain but no draining. It does go on to fill and run but again no draining.
Please advise as to whether skip it and by a Bosch or maybe engineer to try and repair??

Support for these own label machines from Argos and the supermarkets is next to non-existent and for some you cannot even buy spares for them after they exit their warranty a lot of the time.
It’s probably a drain pump failure or something in the drain pump but you’d have to open it up to find out.
If it is a pump you need then you may struggle to get one.
