ModeratorWAE244S1GB/21.
Quite new machine, long established customer of mine, worried Bosch might charge him if its not a machine fault.
Showing F26. He phoned Bosch who said it was something to do with the pressure switch? (Is that true?)and as it was so new would be more likely to be his plumbing so he would be charged.
A Hotpoint WMA has been running on the same plumbing for over 10 years without problems.
The waste pipe has been extended and the outlet pipe had been fitted to a fairly low spigot on the sink waste. I repositioned the pipe just in case the machine had been syphoning. Inlet pressure is very good but as he thinks the fault only comes on in the middle of the cycle I did suspect a syphoning issue but it is not conclusively that.Tried to start the machine and it still has F26 in the display.
I have tried various combinations but apart from one brief flicker to a programme time I could not get rid of F26 and the Reload symbol in the display.Does anyone know the correct reset for these and just exactly what F26 is?
TIA.
Jim.

To be truthful I don’t know the answer here Jim but I suspect the restricted drain has everything to do with the problem. On some Bosch machines F26 refers to a pressure switch problem based on flood protection control. So perhaps replacing the pressure switch might be the way forward here?
Also your customer needs to sort the drain system out. Whilst the Hotpoint may have worked fine using it the Bosch on the other hand has a less efficient pump and an anti-sudsing sensor. So that may be the source of the trouble?
HTH 😀
