    Hi, I have another w/m which has the drum spider broken. I patched it up and it lasted a few weeks when it broke again. You can’t buy the spider alone (drum+spider costs around £188). Anyone know where I can get a new or used spider perhaps from a non-working m/c? It’s a pity to just scrap this m/c.

    There’s was at least 4 baumatic washers at Smallmead Tip in Reading last Friday!

    But you’re not allowed to remove them from tips these days and I know the Baumatic spider is poor cast iron and corrodes very quickly, but I still need one!
