Just spent the best part of half a day giving the range cooker its half yearly strip down and clean and boy does it sparkle.

The stay clean panels however were a bit grease laden and despite a good scrub and a thorough baking at 250c they are looking a bit jaded.

Any tips for restoring them to former glory?

I only mend them not clean them. 😆

I’m not sure that that is possible especially if they’ve become saturated in fat and burnt on. They can be scrubbed to some extent but do not use any cleaning agents as that will bugger them totally. Only high heat application will clean them and if that doesn’t work then replacement the only option.
