    basically whatever cycle you select, the end light flashes 5 times never repeated and sits there dead.cant access the diagnostics. have tried new lock=no change
    have meggered heater= ok
    checked board for damage/loose wires etc= appears ok
    motor carbons are as new. (this machine is in holiday cottage very very little use)
    it has ceset motor on so tacho shouldnt be an issue.
    any advice appreciated

    Have you meggered the motor? I have seen a few with the armature short to earth, could always try powering it up with the motor disconnected as well.

    Thanks for reply. I havr since fitted a known hood motor and also disconnected motor.
    So still a head scratcher!

    had once a weird fault on a 105 and it was a burnt connection at pswitch just a thought prob more the pcb is goosed

    happy days!!!!
    bit bored today so decided to rob a motor triac from a board and solder it in.
    yes that did the trick.
    full wash cycle done and passed diagnostics with no faults indicated.
    one to remember.
