Hotpoint “DOOR” fault
Interlock ok checked wiring connections twice, on both occasions the appliance worked then after the second time of connection checking it only lasted for two washes, could this be wiring or board fault as pressure and movement is put on board when reconnecting.?

Has been a pain in the backside this one,machine only about 14 months old so not expected to be carbon brushes,having checked suggested options had a look at carbons, hardly any wear at all gave them a blast of air replaced them. Machine has not faulted since, so presumably problem was sticking carbons,
They must have decided to make contact every time i moved the machine lol.

If it was a Sole motor thats prob’ly the culprit, loose brush conections are common and the motor overload trips on hot washes
