hi guys customer complaining of a beeping noise from the cooker when it is not in use , she sayes it comes on in the middle of the night , also the fan can start and the light in the oven also comes on , ghosts in this house !!!! anyone have any experiences like this

Had similar fault years ago with timer alarm on a Cannon gas cooker.
Always turned itself on at 5.30 in the morning and at other odd times.
Replaced timer but fault continued.
One day customer was up early in kitchen when the boiler fired up on its timer. Cooker alarm went off as well.
Found both cooker and boiler were plugged into same double power point. Plugged into different points and the fault never happened again.
Can only think the boiler was sending a power spike back down the mains and triggering the cooker as well.
Might be worth checking if any thing else in the house is starting up at the same time.
