Hi guys, wonder if anyone can help me with this. I had this one in for a bearing replacement but customer now reports that it is not taking the conditioner on any cycle.
I have revisited the machine assuming a valve had gone but seem to work fine – pre-fills with one side of the cold/tops up with hot and off it goes – put it on a rinse and the other cold solenoid opens up so I assume this proves the valves – the only part I have not seen is the conditioner part of the cycle when both cold valves open up as I couldnt hang round while the cycle ran to the end.
Two things – does anyone have a test prog for this machine, cant seem to find one and does anyone have a connection diagram for me to check – although I am sure these are right as they are keyed.

At no point do I see water entering the left hand side of the dispenser.

    Cheers

i have a routine for testing the components one by one ie pump heater valves 1 by one but not for testing for taking conditioner
you should be able to check the valves with a meter but i would check that the conditioner bit isnt blocked underneath first

Yes tested valves with meter and measured voltages when being activated so I know they work and appear to work in correct order – no blockage in syphon – but no water seems to be going into the conditioner/prewash side – left as you look at it.

Yep everything is fine – from memory machine is level vertically but does seem to be unlevel left to right – right side being lowest.
Can anyone tell me how the 3 pipes from solenoids should be connected – ie two cold pipes on dispenser inlet 1 and 2 etc.

    cheers

Without having a dispenser in front of me to look at I can’t remember if the there are three or four nozzles on the back of the dispenser.

Did you remove the hoses and/or valve connections? I never do that for a bearing change, just hang the dispenser fully connected to inlet hoses and wiring over the back/side of machine, just disconnect the main inlet hose from drum. 😉

If there are four nozzles then one of them is blanked off, have you put one of the hoses on this?

Not sure if this will help, I remembered that the old, hard copy WMA manuals had a picture of the dispenser in them.

Have managed to copy one from a pdf doc.

Thanks for the input – yes there are 4 inlets to the dispenser and one is blocked off and from the above drawing they are connected correctly – does anyone know the test sequence for these machines – they have a dial selector and start button rather than an on/off and start as suggested in the test sequence posted on here.

    cheers

The manual for these does not contain any test info.

PM me an e-mail address and I will send you the test info for a WMA44 which uses the same pcb.
