At switch-on, Programme Select doesn’t work, it just stays flashing on the 1st left-hand option (Rinse Aid). Only after patient, persistent toggling of the Programme Select and Start/Reset button does the programme move along one to ‘Intensive’ and no further, so that’s the one we use, albeit the most time-consuming one.
Already had a fitter out to ‘cure’ this problem once. With the cost of a possible replacement PCB being about £70 + £50 call-out charge, and reading on another forum that I might as well give up on it and buy another machine, what do you think?
And if I do have to replace it, can you recommend a simple slimline model that just offers straightforward, no-nonsense dishwasher with as few bells and whistles as possible?
