I have tried searching here but found no answer so hopefully someone can help, this hotpoint fills with water and then turns the drum fast clockwise for a few seconds and stops it repetes this a few times and then aborts the program, it does the same on a spin cycle where it pumps the water out and then instead of a tumble it spins fast for a couple of seconds with no error but says it has finished with the end light, i have meggered the machince ok so i am thinking pcb, any help would be great.

You could try using the ‘Last Error detected’ routine that you can find in the Known Error codes thread.
If you do you may find it reports a tacho error.
I would be carefully checking the wiring connections to the motor plug and checking the harness for chafing near the concrete weight.
If those are OK then its possible the motor tacho magnet is loose.
