Looks like my current Hotpoint fridge freezer is beyond economical repair and I am in the market for a new one. I have had a look online and I am a bit bewildered at the choice and makes out there now. I am basically looking to buy a small fridge freezer that would suit the needs of a single person.
I saw that Argos has some good deals on their value range. Would any one recommend them? Who makes the fridge freezers for Argos?

I would also welcome suggestions of a good make an model of a small fridge freezer similar to my Hotpoint Ice Diamond 8321 which has given more than 25 years trouble free service.
    Thanks on advance.

    Hi

To get the same build factor and life expectancy as you have enjoyed you will need to consider one from the Liebherr range.

The Argos budget machines like Bush etc will not last long at all.

The 8321 was a 55cm wide appliance with the top mount freezer, if you don’t need the freezer at the top and you can accommodate a 60cm wide appliance you will get a lot more choice. Liebherr are the best, Bosch, Gorenje and Hotpoint are well worth a look in their price points.

    HTH 🙂
