I have been talking with an insurance company with regard to – Public, Employers, and Products liability – for WTA Registered Domestic Appliance Engineers, Refurbishers, and Recyclers.
I am still in talks with this insurance company who have so far offered a 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Discount to Members of the WTA (possibly increasable) and furthermore, a 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Discount for non-WTA engineers that are introduced to the insurance company by the WTA through a special code that will be supplied. This 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Discount offer is to entice new members to the WTA.
Many other insurance products are available to the discount.
e.g.
I am a Sole Trader with no Sub-Contractors that are not individually insured for the work that they undertake for me.
The Insurance Cover that I enjoy, that has been accessed through the same company, has afforded me the necessary Products Liability for the Refurbished Appliances that I sell, together with the Public and Product Liabilities that are required for off-site repairs at customers premises.
2012 – 2013 Cost = £98
I am attaching some PDFs that have been sent for us to iron-out any problems or restrictions that may arise with the policy types. Please read the PDFs and let me have your feedback, that I may forward them to the respective persons.
