I got called to this microwave oven where the customer opened the door and it went bang, i looked at the bulb which had blown and had also blown the power board, i replaced the power board at a great cost but now when you plug the oven in it shows up E5 for a couple of seconds and then the display goes blank, i have read that E5 means pcb electronic failure but i have replaced the power board, does this mean that one of the other boards are faulty or have i got to programme the board, any help is appriciated as i have spent a lot on this oven and need to get it working
    Thanks Andy

Those boards do not need programming, it will probably need one of the display boards, just not sure which one.Sorry, I can’t tell you what E5 means.
