    The oven will do nothing with the word ‘stop’ displayed and cannot be cancelled even when the appliance is switched off and on. Has anyone come across this before?

    If the oven gets switched off at the mains it will display stop in the display, follow the instructions in the user manual for resetting the clock and it should be fine.
