    Hi,

I have an AEG B2190 oven which keeps tripping the RCD whenever the oven switch is turned on.

The fan control fuse and thermostat have both been replaced recently and the oven was working fine. Then the other day it just tripped the RCD fuse in our fuse box. Now it can’t be turned on without immediately tripping out the RCD. Nothing immediately appears to be burnt out.

Does any one have any ideas please?

    Thank you in advance

    Marc

Fan control fuse? Do you mean the thermal cut-out?
Hard to tell without testing, but likely its the lamp unit or element shorting to earth. :lesson: Power off if doing any testing or checks of course.
