Looking at buying one of these for myself, model – OB60B77DEX2
    Dont know much about them.
Does anyone if this is a genuine F&P or a made up piece, I’ve heard there are two types.

Fisher & Paykel ovens only come from two sources, the earlier ones with the blue enamel cavity were made in New Zealand or Australia, When F&P bought over Delonghi all production was moved to the Delonghi factory in Italy.

    Cheers, guys,
So, are the ones made in Italy as good as the ones made before that?
How does it match up to other ovens on the market, I’ll probably be able to get this oven for about €700, is that a good price for this type of machine?
As I’m buying for my own house I’d like to get it right!

I prefer the old style ovens, the build quality was superb but they also had a price to match. The new ones are fine and all I ever change is fan elements and an occasional clock. Pricing for spares is reasonable with the fan element at about £14 and the clock less than £50 retail.

Nice oven for the price you have, cheapest retail I can see here is £750
