hello all The cycle pump on this d/w is running slow,I have read in one of the topics that it could be 1 a blockage, but the motor turns freeley. 2 It could be the cap but this measures ok. any other suggestions please.

How do you know the pump is running slowly?
Is the water alternating between top and bottom spray arms, if not it could be the heater box/diverter valve. Is the wash pump impellor ok, can get damaged which slows down the water flow
If the Cap was faulty the motor is unlikely to start and would just “buzz”

Have you taken the motor out?
If it is running slow then it may be worth removing the motor and unscrewing the impeller off the end of the shaft so that you can gain access to see the front of the motor, it could be that you will find it covered in gunk and that the front bearing is rusty, if so then you will need to change the impeller seal and front bearing on the motor.
