    Hi there
    Having trouble with this Hotpoint WDL520p washer dryer.

    When you select any programme the electronic door lock clicks 6 times.
    The door stays locked but the machine does nothing.
    The door lock light flashes yellow.
    Any help would be most welcome.

    Always first thing to check is motor, brushes and poor motor plug connections prime suspects.

    You may also want to try disconnecting the dryer element if you get no joy with the motor. As they can bring up all sorts of stupid faults…

    Thank you for your help.

    One of the tags on the brushes had melted.
