Been to look at a Creda W100FW washing machine which stopped mid-cycle, with water in tub, i’ve replaced the usaual suspects (door interlock & pump) motor brushes were o.k, no visible cable damage, machine is in cold utility room & i thouht it may have been condensation on board etc, i’ve used machine while connected through ampmeter, it does heat & go past heat cycle, i’ve been thinking its a duff timer?

    Any ideas,,
ta for any help in advance.

    It sounds like it Seamy.

Double check the leads from the tacho aren’t chaffing against the motor case though 😉
