This machine has me flumoxed. The inner retaining spring seems completely inaccessible. I can’t get the machine front off because it appears to be screwed to the casing with inaccessible screws. Therefore I can’t remove the concrete surround that seems to be preventing access to the retaining spring. 😕 What to do?

You replace the seal through the door aperture you do not need to take front off or tip machine back nor remove the worktop. where the rubber meets the drum peel back the seal to reveal the tub I normally do this by the door seal drain holes at the bottom then place your fingers next to the tub and press down hard then pull seal towards you .Getting a seal off on one of these takes me less then 30 seconds but its getting the door seal and the inner retaining spring back on thats the fun part

No need to take off front or concrete weight. As Captain says 30 seconds to get it off & 30 seconds to get it back on too, thats with well lubed up fingers. Easy when you’ve done it a hundred times but is a bit tricky first time.
