    We have an LG F1456QD that is making a grinding noise when the drum is in motion which I am pretty sure is the bearings.

    I looked on this site for parts and it looks like I need 05LG03 and its recommended to get a 4036ER4001A at the same time.

    I am competent DIYer and I have looked at a couple of youtube videos on replacing bearings but none of them were a direct drive model.

    Is there any gotchas I need to look out for when replacing bearings on this?

    As with most, go slow, take a note of everything and you should be okay.

    Almost every bearing change has some difference or quirk to deal with.

    also youll need to change the drum spider
