hi, i have a friend with a hotpoint FDL570GR, the on/off, start/pause and end lights are flashing, any idea as to what fault this is indicating, many thanks.

Communications error, there are either loose connections between the main pcb in the base and the controls in the door or the main pcb is goosed.
