ParticipantSold this 13th July and called today for overfilling and time jumping backwards and forwards then can finish at 4 minutes and the door opens.
Today the time was 1h37m down to 1h24 then back to 1h37 down to 1h22 and drops to 1h01. Is this the machine sorting itself out.
The second problem is more serious. It has flooded the room. I didn’t see it flood but if you stop a programme at end of fill, restart it will fill again and this carries on until its flooding. I know this isn’t what anyone would do but it shouldn’t happen.
Anyone any ideas on what it could be(PCB)?
Is there any tech info too?
Thanks

Tech info in the stickies at the top of the forum. 😉
Yes, the time will alter depending on the conditions as it employs fuzzy logic, essentially no two washes will ever be the same and the program times are not fixed.
The machine is constantly recalculating the remaining time and it’s a best guess, not handed down on tablets of stone like many customers seem to think until it’s explained to them.
There is an overfill protection and the techie stuff should explain how to test it.
But as always…. run the test program before assuming anything is my advice.

Thanks Ken, I didn’t realise the machine came under the 1607 number

No Rob, there should be W256 info there as well but, in principle they are very similar.

Ken
There is a WM70.1 listed under W1607 which looks similar but can you confirm it’s the right one please?

Hi Rob,
Yes, the only difference is the model number, the door and the soap dispenser.

I don’t know whether I should post this here or direct to ISE but here goes.
Did the test and no fault code appeared. It did keep filling on the valve tests but not sure if this is normal. I then put it into a fast wash and it overfilled until half way up the glass then stopped. Tested again and it filled normally. Same reading testing the pressure switch.
As said earlier if when full the stop is pressed then start again it will fill again. I did this four times in a row and water got over halfway up the door.
I think I would like to order a pressure switch and pcb to be on the safe side but any help is welcome.

Looks like I should send this to ISE tech. Can anyone give me their email, I can’t find it.

That’d end up with me.
It sounds like a pressure sensor that’s wrong, either the connections to it or the sensor itself.
