HI,HAVE TAKEN IN PART EXCHANGE,A RUSSEL HOBBS,BLACK WASHING MACHINE,MODEL NO RH1247B,JUST NEEDED A SERVICE,AND BOIL OUT,BUT FOUND ALL THREE PADDLE LIFTERS BROKE,HAVE LOOKED EVERY WHERE ON INTERNET,AND YOUR WHITEGOODS PARTS,BUT TO NO AVAIL,ANYBODY KNOW WHERE TO GET THEM,THEY HAVE SEVEN HOLES,AND ARE JUST OVER 7INS LONG,WONDER IF ANY OTHER MAKE WILL FIT ,THANKS.

It’s a very poor quality, Chinese made machine, exclusive to Asda I think. Service/spares back up is not great. :rolls:
Interested to know how you ‘serviced’ it?
TBH the tip is the best place for it, if you sell it on it will only end in tears. 🙁

hi,thanks for quick reply,hard to believe a large brand name would sell poor products,from china,machine runs smooth,and it looks good ,shame to dump it ,by the way ,my service is to remove parts clean/check,belt/pump /brushs/ bearings/seals,etc.and replace if needed. will hang on to see if anyone can help.thanks.

It’s just a name, AFAIK the Russell Hobbs brand name is owned by Asda and it’s all cheapo stuff shipped in from the far east in the main. Other names that had a decent reputation many years ago have all gone the same way such as Kenwood and Bush which are also Chinese tat.

More likely a midea machine. Which you can get the parts for. You just need to match the parts.
