This dishwasher is showing fault code E25. when I press the cancel 3 second reset nothing happens, and It sounds like a relay on the board is chattering.
my question is is it possible for a self repair or needs professional repair.
    thanks john

I’m sure you know that E25 relates to a pump blockage but you haven’t mentioned the drain pump, so how is it?

To be honest Martin not sure how to check, as it has 3 wires in, but have tried to check voltage in via plug, but as I said I can get the reset to work to sent voltage to the pump plug, also not sure if its possible to test voltage when the plug is disconnected from pump. ( as this may in its self cause a fault) not sure!!
perhaps you can advise as I have not seen this newer type before,as the machine is just over 2yrs old. !!
    cheers John

Well the pump operates on DC voltage. Resistance measurements between terminals should be 82 ohms (give or take 8 ohms) I.e term 1 to term 2 = 82 ohms 2 to 3 = 82 1 to 3 = 82 if you catch my drift?

The pump is fed directly by the module that detects any resistance fluctuations. Once it does it assumes the pump is blocked and attempts to clear the blockage by turning the power to it on and off. If, after a short time it fails to detect a normal resistance reading it stops altogether and flags up an E23, E24 or E25 error ( usually E23 as a rule though).

E25 is often accompanied by the ‘check tap’ symbol by the way and could just mean that the pump cover isn’t in position. So worth checking that first I reckon. 😉
