ParticipantHi folks,
I;d very much appreciate your help. I inherited a Diplomat ADP 8132 dishwasher when I moved house and its been running fine for the last 4 years. Recently its not been draining at the end of the cycle and obviously leaving a pool of water. I’ve checked the waste trap and thats clear, drained the water and had a look underneath…none of the pipework appears clogged, with the hoses off both pumps appear to spin freely and not clogged…after going through the reset routine (function buttone 4 times etc) it still appears to run fine (ie fills ok) and I can hear the front pump running but still got water at the end…any ideas ?
Many thanks in advance

When you say it fills, at the start of a wash… Does it first drain all the remaining water out.
As the drain pump should be operating. Does it then takes water in for the wash?September 12, 2012 at 10:45 am #381047Muv

That should read..
Does the drain pump operate first at the start of a cycle (as it should) then it should take fresh water in for a the wash cycle…
Or is it that the pump Just won’t pump out at the end of the cycle?September 12, 2012 at 10:50 am #381048ellietwed

cheers for the reply…I think I hear the pump at the start of the cycle then it takes fresh water for the cycle…it just appears that it won’t pump out the water at the end of the cycle…there doesn’t appear to be any warning lights flashing at me (just the 5th led, but it doesn’t blink). I could try reseting it again…

Only things. Can think of, are loose connections to the pump..or maybe the pump is failing to operate correctly as it gets warmer!
Having not worked on this particular model, I’ll leave it open to others to help you

Just an update…
I ran the dishwasher on the ‘Pot’ cycle (5th light from the left) and it appeared to run all the way through quite happily…opened the door at the end and left with a pool of undrained water…..then put it on the ‘rinse ‘ ? cycle (1st light) and it ran quite happily…and everything drained !
Now I’m stumped….any help much appreciated 🙁
I suggested to the wife that she perform a rinse after each wash but she’s not having any of it ….September 15, 2012 at 9:23 am #381052Muv

As long as the dishes are dry at the end, then when you set it for the next wash, it will first drain any water out..and it’s usually clean water left from the last rinse…. So maybe your other half can cope with that…hope someone else has come across this fault before, and can point you in the right direction…
I’m stumped if I’m honest!
