Been to look at this a couple of times and it always appears to be working fine. But from what customer tells me is there is a intermittent fault whereas the freezer will defrost, not completely but soft icecream and bread, but then recover. Unit is about 4 years old, not sure if it has PCB thermostat or mechanical. the freezer defrost timer may be faulty but as its always working ok when I get there cant tell for sure. Anyone know the frequency or control cycle of this timer, in relation to the fridge thermostat?
The fridge has a wet wall evaporator and the freezer a fan circulated battery evaporator. The freezer fan appears to be controlled by the fridge thermostat. Does the thermostat switch the defrost timer for a pre determined time, when the fridge temperature is satisfied?

wiring diagram would be useful if anyone got one.

    Many thanks John
