    Hi guy’s

Just to pick someones brains hopefully.

I have an AKG 341 whirlpool/philips oven which is quite old ish.

The problem seems to be that to work the oven you need to turn the timer on also, but in doing this the oven’s grill also comes on although I haven’t selected it on by the knobs on the oven. Bottom only gets warm and if cooking chicken for example the outside get’s crispy but the inside is raw still.

Any help is grateful, thank you

I’m not familiar with your oven but it sounds as though it is a ‘conventional heated’ type using only the grill element and one embedded in the oven floor to do the cooking. As opposed to a fan heat oven. And therefore from what you say I suspect the element in the oven floor isn’t working and needs replacing?

That sounds about right to me Martin. I’ll give that a shout and see what happens. Thank you for your help.
