    Hello there,

I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience of using a Macerator within a kitchen? We would only have a sink in our kitchen as the washing machine’s elsewhere in the flat. Our builder has recommended using a macerator rather than going under floorboards to connect to main drainage as we’re a top floor tenement flat.

Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated!

    Hi

As long as there are minimal bends and NO sharp bend joints and the pipework is sloped then yes there should be no problem. And use plenty of water when flushing through.
