    Hi
I have a Liebherr no frost fridge freezer cun 2011- approx 7 yrs old. The fridge works fine but I have noticed the freezer is not working well? The ice cream seems to be soft? I tried to increase the settings but that led to ice crystals in the fridge.

I would be grateful for any help/ suggestions.

    Thanks

    Hi Anuj,

For Liebherr the service number is what we need to look up anything for you, you’ll find it on the left hand side wall inside the fridge.

There’s some of the guys on here that may chirp in later on in the day that have way more experience than I on these but, it sounds like a thermistor problem from what you’ve said.

Okay, it’s a single compressor model so looking to the fan motor and thermostat as that would be where to start.

    sorry, just seen this thread.
it sounds like the frost free element of your freezer isn’t working properly, ie not defrosting.
    this could be attributable to:-
the sensor, the components on the defrost circuit, ie heater and/or thermostat, or just a blocked drain hole in the freezer.
it could also be down to the fan, but this is unlikely.
depending on your level of competency, these things are accessed by removing the rear panel in the freezer.
it does sound like engineer time though, to be honest.

    cheers.
